Defence state
minister Huda Oleru Abason has asked former students at Islamic University
in Uganda (IUIU) to pursue further studies in order to get better jobs.
Oleru made the call on Saturday at the 5th IUIU
alumni dinner held at Court’s View Hotel in Mbale City.
According to Oleru most students after their first graduation
have a thinking that they have come to the end of the education cycle and yet
it is just the beginning of education life.
IUIU Rector, Professor Ismail Gyagenda welcomed the alumni
dinner saying the University will continue working hand in hand with the old
students to keep institution image intact.
