The family of the late Dr. Gideon Wamasebu Simiyu the former
Manafwa District Health Officer want justice to prevail over the people behind
his murder.
Wamasebu left his home
two weeks back and his remains were discovered buried in Kakamega, Kenya. Some
suspects were picked up to help in the investigations into the murder of
Wamasebu.
Speaking at a requiem
mass held at St. Austin Catholic Church in Mbale City, Michael Wamasebu a
brother to the deceased said they are committed to providing evidence into the
murder2 of their relative to ensure justice prevails.
John Bosco Opio the Deputy
Chief Administrative Officer for Manafwa district described the late Wamasebu
as a committed and corrupt free person during his time of service as District
Health Officer.
