The Muslim community across 22 mosques in Namisindwa District have asked government to code their Islamic teaching schools also known as Madarasa.

The call was made by Muhammed Twaha Musisi the County Sheikh in his Eid- Al- Adhuha message at Lwakhakha ground in Lwakhakha town council in Namisindwa District.

According to Musisi, most Madarasas are not coded and are in poor condition with a limited number of teachers. He urged area legislators to push for the coding of Madarasas.

John Musila the Bubulo East Member of Parliament says he will lead a team comprised of Muslim leaders from Manafwa and Namisindwa Districts to the Education Ministry to ensure the Islamic teaching schools are coded.
