Bugisu Cooperative Union (BCU) board
chairperson Nathan Nandala Mafabi says they are engage in negotiations to
reclaim Mt. Elgon Hotel in Mbale City.
Mt Elgon Hotel previously owned by BCU was sold off by the
former leadership
Nandala in his new year’s message is optimistic that under
his leadership, the hotel will be wholly owned by BCU.
He also explained that the upgrade of Musundi House into five
star hotel in nearly complete with 95% of the works done. Nandala says they are
determined to provide employment opportunities to the Bamasaaba through such
BCU properties.
