Former
Bubulo West Parliamentary candidate Chris Matembu Wataka has asked politicians
to support God’s cause and empower communities.
Matembu made the appeal at the fundraising ceremony
for the completion of Bwirusa Church of Uganda building in Bumwangu ward,
Manafwa District. The fundraising was organized by Joyce Kidulu, the president
mother’s union and some other members from St. Andrew’s Church of Uganda Cathedral.
The Christians and church leaders welcomed Matembu’s
support towards the completion of the church building and for always supporting
development projects in the community.
Micheal Khaukha Bwayo, the chairperson development and
planning at Bwirusa Church of Uganda says completion of the building had taken
some time.
Maliisa Hosea says that following the fundraising, they are now optimistic that church construction will be completed.
