Police in Namisindwa are hunting for four people suspected to have
attacked a money lender, cut him and went away with his 10 million shillings.

region police spokesperson says the group attacked John Luwegele’s home and in
Magale town council.
Taitika says the group
hit the door forcing it to open and thereafter demanded for money, threatening
to kill him if failed. The group then cut Luwegele’s hand forcing his wife to
hand over 10 million shillings. The thugs then went away.
Taitika says that
despite using a police tracking dog, the suspects could not be located. He
however says that they are still hunting for them and once arrested, they face
charges of aggravated robbery.
