Simiyu came fourth with 509 votes Simiyu followed Mango Situma who got 3,690
votes, while the incumbent Jackson Wakweika garnered 66,952 votes. Emma Bwayo
won the election with 107,453 votes.
Simiyu acknowledged that not all candidates could become NRM flag bearers
for the position of LCV Chairperson for Namisindwa District. He called for
unity and support towards the NRM party’s flag bearer. Emma Bwayo.
Bwayo Emma, the NRM flag bearer for the position of LCV Chairperson for
Namisindwa District welcomed Simiyu’s endorsement. Bwayo added that Namisindwa
deserves exposed, well-connected leaders who are capable of adding value to the
people.
Namisindwa NRM Chairperson Aramazan Wabuko urged former contenders to rally
behind Bwayo Emma the party flag bearer.
