Over 4000 pupils will take this year’s Primary Leaving Examinations in Namisindwa District.


The examinations which start tomorrow will see the pupils take the examinations from 94 centers.


Sophie Kuloba, the Namisindwa District Education Officer says that of the candidates taking the examinations 2,560 are girls while 2209 are boys. Of these 3,952 are beneficiaries of government’s universal primary education (UPE) while 817 are non- UPE pupils. Kuloba called for integrity amongst education managers and warned against any form of examination malpractice. 


Buyela Robert, the director Mercy and Love Nursery and Primary School is optimtisc that their candidates will excel.


Bwayo Emma the Namisindwa Male Youth Councilor says the examinations will determine the pupils’ progression to secondary school and signal effort of their hard work during primary education.
