Namisindwa District Inspector of Schools Banuli Mugisu has asked parents to closely work with school head teachers if academic performance is to improve.
Mugisu sounded the over the weekend at a Parents’ General Meeting for Nabutoro Primary School in Bukiabi Sub County, Namisindwa District. According to Mugisu, some parents do not carry out routine checks on their children at school but rush to demand for good academic performance.
Anthony Weswa the head teacher Nabutoro Primary School applauded the parents for being supportive and promised to work with all stakeholders to better the schools’ academic performance.
Emma Bwayo the Namisindwa District Youth Councilor says that it is important for all stakeholders in the education sector to ensure that school children are academically sound.
