Peter
Wamaana, a hopeful for the Namisindwa County Parliamentary position says he
will contest as an independent candidate in the 2026 general elections.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Wamaana reaffirmed his
commitment to serving the people of Namisindwa based on integrity and
dedication.
According to the statement, Wamaana’s decision to contest
independently marks a significant move where he has distanced himself from
party politics in favor of a people-centred agenda.
He has urged the people of Namisindwa County to support his vision for a more responsive and transparent leadership that is rooted in the real needs of the people.
