Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) members in Budadiri East County, Sironko District have formed a SACCO aimed at boosting their income at household level.
While meeting the SACCO members in Budadiri town council, David Livingstone Giruli the Sironko LCV Chairperson and FDC executive member said the SACCO will help in the fight against household poverty and also drum support for the party.
Hebert Musika the councilor representing Nalusala Sub County says that once FDC members are financially empowered, it deters them from crossing to the ruling National Resistance Movement party.
Robert Mangobe the Chairperson, Budadiri East FDC SACCO asked party leaders at District and National level to financially support the SACCO.
