The Salvation Army chief Major Joseph Wandulu has retired after 32 years of service.

Joseph Wandulu together with his wife Major Alice Wandulu, officially retired from active service of the Salvation Army over the weekend at an event held at Buwambingwa Corps Eastern Division in Namisindwa District. 

 

The function to see them off was led by Colonel Chatanda Theu and Joyce Theu from Malawi Territory. 

Wandulu applauded his family and the entire entire Salvation Army leadership for the mentorship and support during his active service. 

 

George William Wopuwa the Moroto Resident District Commissioner (RDC) applauded Majors Alice and Joseph Wandulu for serving the church with honesty and commitment.

 

Simon Mulongo, the former Bubulo East Member of Parliament and a staunch under the Salvation Army asked the two retirees to embrace the new world with new developments and have time for their grandchildren. Mulongo was represented by his personal assistant Abili Makutusi
