Former Head teacher of Bumbo Senior Secondary School, Joseph Mulago and members of the school’s board of governors are on the spot for alleged misuse of school funds.

As a result, they have been summoned by the education committee at Namisindwa District Local Government.

Alex Molokoye, the education committee chairperson says Mulago and the board members; Kitutu Fredrick (Chairperson), Walwanyi David, Soita Simon Peter, Nyungu Paul, Mayeku Peter, Nasila Fred and Namaande Bernard must explain how the school accumulated debts totaling to 100 million shillings.

Molokoye also claims that the recent handover report by Mulago was half-baked with no substantial information and proper accountability.

In his report to the Namisindwa Chief Administrative Officer, the new head Bumbo SS teacher Moses Mudidiri listed the 100million debt and lack of latrines for teachers as challenges he was battling.

Emma Bwayo, the Namisindwa District Youth Councilor commended the education committee chairperson for the timely intervention.
