Budadiri West MP
Nathan Nandala Mafabi has commenced the distribution of planting materials
across the Constituency to sum up this planting season.
Rev
Jackson Magombe, the director in charge of Operations, mobilization and
communications in the office of MP Budadiri West says the team has been
mobilizing and preparing farmers for the planting season in line with this
term's theme "improving household income".
Magombe
explains that some people had not planted because they didn't have seed. He
explains that the office of MP Budadiri West has been giving out seeds, hand
hoes, fertilizers, and other farm tools to farmers each season.
According
to Magombe, 2500KGs of maize seed will benefit 500 farmers from the 21 lower
administrative units.
Thomas
Kimaasi a farmer from Sironko Town Council says the seeds are timely because
some many people had failed to plant due to hard economic conditions.
