A 21-year-old woman has burnt to death in her grass-thatched house in Kibengeya village in Kapapi sub-county in Hoima district.

The deceased has been identified as Charity Alinaitwe. Her neighbor, Charles Bamuturaki says that the deceased was sleeping alone when her grass-thatched house went up in flames around 3 am on Monday. According to Bamuturaki, they saw huge flames and rushed to see what was happening only to find the deceased's house on fire but it was too late to save her life.
